Kruger wildlife Safaris

If there is something you must do whilst in Africa it is a SAFARI.  Kruger National Park is one of the biggest and oldest park on the continent.    It is home to 336 trees, 49 fish, 34 amphibians, 114 reptiles, 507 birds and 147 mammals. It is rated in the top 3 Parks in Africa.

The borders to the park are constantly being expanded, with collaborations between private reserves and the National Park, plus there are plans for a transfrontier park by extending the park into both Mocambique and Zimbabwe.

Planning Your Safari

First off for any holiday ( never mind safari) is what to take, check out the Packing list.  There is no specialist must have equipment for a safari, but there are things to make life mre comfortable.

Kruger has it's own rules of the road, with it's own speed limits but driving close to wild and dangerous anmals also allows for special safari driving etiquette.
