Kruger wildlife Safaris

If there is something you must do whilst in Africa it is a SAFARI.  Kruger National Park is one of the biggest and oldest park on the continent.    It is home to 336 trees, 49 fish, 34 amphibians, 114 reptiles, 507 birds and 147 mammals.

The borders to the park are constantly being expanded, with collaborations between private reserves and the National Park, plus there are plans for a transfrontier park by extending the park into both Mocambique and Zimbabwe.

Safaris into the park depart daily and a wide range of optionsa are available which will suit all budgets and requirements.  Camping is the most affordable option, but cheaper accommodation does not mean any loss on the safari viewing.  Most of our camping safaris have all game drives inopen vehicles and include either a night drive, game walk or both.

Accommodated safaris vary from basic bungalows with shared bathrooms to 5 star lodges, or even unusal option such as Treehouse, or Traditional African Rondavels.
Safari tents provide an good option as they have real beds but you still get the feel of a night under canvas, and of course through a tent you can hear the sounds of the wild.

Walking safaris provide a fascinating way to experience the African bush, with small personal groups and private camps it is the bst way to get up close and personal
Don't fancy so much exercise? Many of the safaris either include a game walk or have an option to go for a game walk. Open Game vehicles provide a way to get close to wildlife and cover a greater distance.

Another option is to self drive many of the roads in Kruger are tarred and the dirt roads are of a good quality.  there are penty of restcamps which are open to all Kruger visitors.  plus you can opt to do a game drive with rangers from on of e camps in kruger or froma kruger gate if you are staying outside the park .  Check ouraccommodation  it covers all prices ranges and accommodation types, and cover from the southern kruger / mocambique border to Pafuri gate at the very north of the park.

Kruger has it's own rules of the road, with it's own speed limits but driving close to wild and dangerous anmals also allows for special safari driving etiquette.
