5 Reasons To Do A Guided Safari.
1, It's easy, find the right safari and book it. Done! Your accommodation, transport and most meals are organised in one simple task. Each safari offers a pick up and drop off at your hotel, your driver will take you to the park, our accommodation staff will ensure your room is ready, prepare your meals and your safari guide will provide expertise and knowledge on your game viewing activities. No need to plan routes and timings, cook meals or try to book accommodation.
2, Expert Knowledge, the Big 5 of African animals are the ones most people want to see, however there is so much more on a safari. Do you know a kudu from an eland, a white rhino from a black rhino? All our guided safari activities are led by FGASA qualified safari field guides. FGASA is the Field Guide Association of South Africa, training involves a practical and theoretical assessment and includes studies in all the major animal groups plus geology, astronomy, botany, biomes, ecology, weather, climate and conservation. They will know all the animals plus there preferred habitats, where those habitats are and the animal behaviours at a particular time of year or day. The guides are also out on game drives almost every day, providing them with an intimate knowledge of recent sightings and wildlife locations.
3, Cost the safaris include your accommodation, transport, nearly all meals and your game viewing activities. Once it is paid for there is very little you need extra money for on the trip.
4, Convenience, all of our safaris depart daily, offer pick up and drop off at your accommodation, have 3 to 7 day options and can cater for special dietary requirements. With Kruger National Park Safaris, private game reserve safaris and combination tours there is something for everyone; including a selection of Family Friendly Safaris.
5, Equipment, all you need to bring on safari is yourself and your personal belongings. With a guided safari all your accommodations and bedding is provided, the open game vehicles are ready and waiting. Even the camping safaris have real beds and duvets provided.
