Camping Accommodation

Both the camping and bedded accommodation safaris stay at our exclusive lodge, close to Orpen gate which is the gate going to Satara camp. It is the most central gate to Kruger national park. Our camp is a 250 hectares game farm with a very large variety of wildlife, such as giraffe, hippo, impala, blue wildebeest, kudu, nyala, bushbuck, zebra, baboons, monkeys and much more. We see the wildlife every day around and in the camp. We have stayed at many lodges over the years, but this camp has received fantastic feedback from our clients and guides. Clients say that they feel like they are on safari. You will see many animals around the camp. Much more than staying when camping inside Kruger national park. Every night we hear the lions roaring and jackals as well as hyenas calling in the night, while relaxing around a warm campfire.

Camping at our exclusive lodge
The tents that we use, are 3 x 3 meters canvas dome tents, with built in floor and mosquito nets over the doors and windows. All doors, windows and mosquito nets close with zips to keep all insects out. Each tent has two proper single bed mattresses, and each client will have a fitted sheet to cover the mattress. Camping clients will need a sleeping bag, which you can rent at R60 per person (once off) from Livingstone Trails, if you do not have a sleeping bag of your own. The tents are permanently pitched, which means that you do not have to pitch or break down tents while on a Kruger national park tour.
