Accommodation on safari
All of our game drives are in open vehicles, all depart daily and all have qualified guides. Some visit the Hoedspruit Endangered Cheetah Centre, some the Blyde River Canyon, some have game walks but one of the main factors in choosing a safari is the accommodation. See below for our accommodation options to see which is right for you.
Camping Safaris
The tents that we use, are 3 x 3 meters canvas dome tents, with built in floor and mosquito nets over the doors and windows. All doors, windows and mosquito nets close with zips to keep all insects out. Each tent has two proper single bed mattresses, and each client will have a fitted sheet to cover the mattress. The tents are permanently pitched, which means that you do not have to pitch or break down tents while on a Kruger National park tour. Our camp is a 250 hectares game farm with a very large variety of wildlife, such as giraffe, hippo, impala, blue wildebeest, kudu, nyala, bushbuck, zebra, baboons, monkeys and much more.
Treehouse Safaris
The treehouses accommodation is secure, comfortable and relaxed. We offer 12 treehouses : four original units built in the trees with designated private ablutions on the ground below and eight en suite units built on stilts within the tree canopy. Three treehouses overlook an illuminated waterhole, often frequented by our resident buffalo herd while nine treehouses are discreetly nestled in gallery forest along the river. Each treehouse is equipped with beds and linen, soap and towels, overhead fan, mosquito nets and wooden viewing deck. The camp has a swimming pool, a bush bar and a rustic boma where 3 course meals are served, and breakfast area overlooking the waterhole.

Rustic Safari Tents
Accommodation consists of two double-bedded and two four-bedded tents that share double ablutions. The tents are at the same camp as the treehouses, which has a water hole overlooked by the breakfast area, has a swimming pool, a bush bar and a rustic boma where 3 course meals are served.

Luxury Safari tents
Our bedded clients stay in semi-luxury walk in safari tents wit en-suite bathroom. These tents are built on a wooden deck, overlooking the river. Each tent has a platform with two chairs, where clients can relax, while looking at the animals passing by. Each tent has a small fridge where you can keep your drinks cold, a fan and two single beds (bedding provided). Our camp is a 250 hectares game farm with a very large variety of wildlife, such as giraffe, hippo, impala, blue wildebeest, kudu, nyala, bushbuck, zebra, baboons, monkeys and much more.
Adventure Camp
Compared to other similarly priced backpacker safaris that use small 2-man tents, Marc's Adventure Camp offers fantastic accommodation. Marc's Adventure Camp comprises eight en suite chalets, an entertainment area including a bar, dining room and TV lounge. A large pool and boma are centrally situated and at night the whole area is illuminated by a powerful floodlight. The Adventure Camp is part of the Motlala Game Reserve which boasts numerous animals including both Black and White Rhino, Buffalo and Leopard.
Tremisana Lodge
We have a total of 15 chalets plus a two-bedroomed Guest House. Every unit has a thatch roof, is air-conditioned and en suite ( shower, toilet, basin ) and has a tea/coffee station. Insect-proof screens are fitted on all windows. There is a splash pool, open air boma for dinners around a crackling fire and a covered lapa overlooking a waterhole. A very beautiful luxuriant garden boasts numerous bougainvilleas, palms and cycads which give the camp a subtropical tone. Water features add a soothing effect and the overall feel of Tremisana Lodge is very relaxing. At night, the subdued light along the illuminated paved walkways lend a romantic and magical feel to this outstanding camp.
